We are delighted to announce the installation and commissioning of new solar panel arrays serving units 5 to 8 and 9-10. The PV arrays will bring significant environmental benefits as well as lowering the cost of electric consumed by the businesses who occupy the units.
In total the system is some 74 KW with an estimated annual solar generation of 72,958 kWh. The environmental benefits of the PV arrays will see a reduction of 19 tonnes of CO2 emissions per annum.
The investment by the owners of the site has been made in conjunction with the help of Low Carbon Dorset and the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund – lowcarbondorset@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk.
